Dancing Deer Mountain

Dancing Deer Mountain is located north of Eugene, on the outskirts of Junction City, Oregon.

The venue has several parking areas, but we do encourage car-pooling to cut down on our carbon footprint to and from the site. Additionally, we will be turning one of the parking fields into our "lawn games" site.

The ceremony will be held outside in the natural amphitheater.

The lawn is at a slight slope, but we have been assured that there have been no spills to date. We won't have official ushers (we're pretty unofficial), so if you are concerned for yourself or a loved one, use the buddy system.

When selecting your seat, please be mindful that the front row should be reserved for immediate family members.

Due to the natural acoustics, we will not have a sound system for the short ceremony. However, we tested it out ourselves and the sound really does project! Nature is amazing! Even so, those concerned about sound levels may want to sit near the front. Please contact us if you would like us to reserve a seat for this reason.

Because we will be walking on grass, we encourage our guests to wear flat, sensible shoes. Or heck, have a glass of wine and go barefoot, even.

The reception will be held immediately adjacent to the ceremony site, in the log-cabin structure. There are no assigned seats, so sit where ever and with whomever you like! Savvy seaters will choose their compatriots wisely for the "pub" trivia after dinner.

We encourage all our guests to explore the property and take advantage of the beautiful location!

There are bathrooms and changing rooms available on site.

Unfortunately, we must leave the Dancing Deer Mountain one hour before sunset (the owners live on the property). In July, this will be somewhere between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m. The summer days in Eugene are quite warm (so are the nights), but since the venue has many trees and is rather shady, you may want to bring a light-weight coverup.
